KEEPING UP WITH the Kardashians may have a show, but they don't have DA Miller Family Christmas Blog or acronymically THE MFCB. They may have Big Butts which Sir Mix-A-Lot sings about (viewer discretion advised at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ImZTwYwCug), although there's no ifs, and, or Butts that the DA MILLERS still have Your MFCB Supporter, Jack Strap who writes about them.
Actually Hills Hoops Inc. (HHI) Athletic Supporter Jack Strap is pretty much retired having written his last report way back on January 1, 2013--see that LIPPER Memorial Extravaganza story & others @ http://hillhoops.blogspot.com/. But Jack Strap is still under contract for the MFCB which stipulates that he has to write/type until Harry Wong retires from his Christmas Newsletter, thus he's KEEPING UP WITH DA Wong. Wong's Newsletter just arrived via carrier pigeon noting it's been in existence for 25 years, although the MFCB has been around at least 26 years. Now don't confuse us with those "We're the MILLERS" depicted in this movie http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1723121/ noting Glenn isn't a Drug Dealer although he saw Cheech & Chong perform, Karen isn't a Stripper played by Jennifer Aniston, Britty isn't a Runaway even if she no longer lives at home, and I'm not asking Andrew if he's a Virgin. We're also not the family on the now cancelled TV show "The MILLERS" http://www.cbs.com/shows/the-millers/. The best way to remember us is the "DA"--we're DA MILLERS. If that doesn't help, we'll include some pictures below that might jog your memory.
Anyway, you're 3 paragraphs into this & we really have nothing to show for that except that you have a couple of catchy tunes from different eras stuck in your head if you utilized our slick-clickable hyperlink technology. So let me tell you something you don't know--Glenn is on the cusp (a short but good word) of meeting a New Year's Resolution. I know, who does that? Back on January 1st he vowed to Karen and no one else in case he didn't follow through--that he would average one at least 30 minutes vigorous (walking the dogs doesn't count) work-out per day. He has missed some days due to circumstances, but then has done double work outs on other days. The usual work-out is 35 minutes downstairs on the elliptical, although other means have been used on business trips & Vacations. Of course he'd rather still be playing Hills Hoops Inc. basketball with the HHI Founding Fathers/Other Friends and running in the Morton LRP (Lunch Run Program).
Vacations is a good segue (another short by good word), so we'll go there. It was March Madness when Glenn & Karen went to North Dallas to see the College Basketball Semi-Finals at AT&T Stadium which is an amazing venue even if it's the home of the Cowboys noting Glenn booed both Jerry Jones & Troy Aikman when they showed them on the mega-screen. Karen has become quite the basketball & football fan from Wilson & now West York games and her Favorite Final 4 player was Shabazz Napier who led UConn over the Florida Gators (& then a couple days later--to the National Championship). While in the 2nd game, Glenn's favorite player Frank "The Tank" Kaminsky suffered a heart-breaking 1-point loss on a Kentucky buzzer beater. Our family vacation was another trip to the Outer Banks (OBX) during which Andrew turned 21 & regarding which Karen will include a pictorial below. Our last family mini-vaca was to Florida to see Connor "Magnum" Mathias (http://espn.go.com/college-football/player/_/id/512154/connor-mathias) play there for Marist vs. the Stetson Hatters in DeLand, FL which is known as "The Athens of the South" (http://www.planetflorida.net/deland-hist/). While there we also spent a couple days at Walt Disney World parks.
Penn State is worthy of its own paragraph starting with new Coach James Franklin's Coach's Caravan trip to PSU York. There he was given (2) signs (i.e. We Are Penn State & Dominate the State) made for him by Karen and he responded by leaping from the stage & giving her a big hug. That picture made the York news & a mention in Blue White Illustrated magazine. Karen & Glenn attended (3) PSU games this year including one with Britty and her boyfriend Matt. In addition Glenn was in Happy Valley for the annual Road Trip weekend with his Olde PSU Buddies and also was able to return to the 3P (Poletti Pool Party) Volleyball court with those Buddies & others after missing last year's "reindeer games" due to his Achilles injury.

Degree in Computer Science (http://www.millersville.edu/computerscience/) and for now is continuing to work for one of the Companies he did an internship with which is Webstaurant Store in Lititz. Andrew also continues to perform percussion for the Spring Garden Band & teach drum lessons. Brittany joined the York Symphony Chorus & the Chamber Singers this year and has performed at various venues. In addition she has been working for Philhaven (http://www.philhaven.org/) and this year got a promotion to a Masters level position in their Lancaster office. Glenn is still VP Finance at GEA (formerly FES), although a few months back the Germany-based Co. announced a major global restructuring program (http://economictimes.indiatimes.com/news/international/business/gea-to-axe-about-1000-jobs-in-restructuring/articleshow/40570455.cms) that they're internally calling "Fit for 2020". This will all happen well before 2020 as he'll know the outcome in 2015. Karen calls her hobby "enterprise" Ruby Heart Crafts where she has "shops" in Etsy & eBay, as well as continuing to enjoy creating delicious baked goods & notably she won 2nd place at the York Fair.
