FINALLY DA MFCB (MILLER Family Christmas Blog) HAS COME BACK to an electronic device near you complete with the latest in slick clickable hyperlink technology (for more on that click http://www.webopedia.com/TERM/H/hyperlink.html) which would have been unavailable to you if you hadn't upgraded years ago from the old MILLER Family Christmas Newsletter's "tree-killing" paper version because as the Go-Go Gophers (see their classic cartoon @ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hzkBR_ZwE30) say "Whoopee Doopee, You'um Genius". It's the Day Before Christmas but not too late to get this to you in time for Christmas because we don't need no stink'in snail mail delivery, kinda-sorta like in the classic Blazing Saddles scene when they didn't need no stink'in badges http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-lj056ao6GE. Let's start with the Happiest of Returns because FINALLY DA MILLERS (After 29 years) HAVE COME BACK to Hawaii. Glenn & Karen vacationed there in 1984 and this year brought Britty & Andrew along for the "long ride". Since a picture is worth a thousand words and at my 10 words a minute typing rate that would take 1 hour and 40 minutes which is much longer than the average person's attention span--I'll just hyperlink you to it's All About Hawaii @ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2xJm6qoVP4c.

The saddest return was Karen's mother passed away in September after suffering some health issues. Being the oldest and Executrix, Karen has had some stressful situations to take care of the past few months. Hoping for happier days ahead!

FINALLY DA MILLERS HAVE COME BACK to concerts as we rocked to the classic hits of the Doobie Brothers at York's Strand-Capitol Performing Arts Center (hear "Rockin Down the Highway" @ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jHCMG3sNYUA) and Chicago at Lancaster's American Music Theater. So also in lucky 2013--FINALLY DA MILLERS HAVE COME BACK to these things. Karen HAS COME BACK to making baked goods (can you smell-lllllll what Karen is Cooking) not only for the enjoyment of all of our family, friends, and co-workers, but now also for Maewyn's Irish Pub & Restaurant's Customers http://www.maewyns.com/. This came about after Britty took them into her part-time job there and the Manager & Chef liked them so much they've asked her to come in on a regular basis to bake for them. After graduating with her Masters in Psychology Britty HAS COME BACK to work full-time @ Philhaven (http://www.philhaven.org/) which was where she interned while at Millersville. Also at Millersville is Andrew who HAS COME BACK as a Junior now to MU's Honors College (http://www.millersville.edu/honorscollege/) majoring in Computer Science. Andrew also HAS COME BACK to his internship employer Idea Tree (http://idea-tree.n et/#home) to work part-time around MU classes. The small entrepreneurial co. is in the process of moving to a new office where they'll share space with the band Live--related story from 2012 @ http://www.ydr.com/ci_19755299. Speaking of bands, we have the Fab 4 of Pets: "Big Furry" Chandler, "Baby" Lola, "Little Skinny" Ellie, and "Beany/Wormy" Bradley who are managed by the Zookeeper Karen.

Glenn HAS COME BACK for over 6 years as the VP Finance for (with the latest name change) GEA Refrigeration North America, Inc. (GEA RNA) which is one of the many operating companies of the German-headquartered GEA Group (http://www.gea.com/en/index.html). He has also COME BACK from surgery to repair a ruptured achilles suffered when he CAME BACK to play with Hills Hoops Inc. (see HHI's Facebook page @ https://www.facebook.com/pages/Hills-Hoops-Inc-HHI/140604299289633). Note HHI is now of drinking age having celebrated their 21st Birthday in 2013. That injury caused him to have to sit out Poletti Pool Party (3P) Volleyball which he luvs, but didn't stop him from taking his boot (more on The Boot@ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZEgD-Mn5ftc) on the annual Penn State Road Trip. In addition to the PSU game, the Road Trip Crew rocked out with Skipper Dave's Band "The Insomniacs" (https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Insomniacs/199578909267). Also to Happy Valley--FINALLY DA MILLERS (Glenn, Karen, Britty & her boyfriend Matt) HAVE COME BACK to see PSU's exciting overtime victory over the Illini (see the Highlights @ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NDnIS2xvFlQ).

Most recently & FINALLY (you're probably thinking) DA MILLERS HAVE COME BACK to Orlando for the first time in December and for the first time renting a house. With temps about 50 degrees warmer than York, we enjoyed days at Magic Kingdom (Britty & Andrew), Animal Kingdom (Glenn & Karen), Epcot Center (All), and an exceeding expectations 1st visit for all of us to Sea World Florida which included great shows, as well as a world-class roller coaster Manta (ride virtually @ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-8kfo39hmJI).
