By Your HHI & Athletic Supporter, Jack Strap 32 Years is a long-time and using round numbers 1/2 the years I've been alive have included Hills Hoops Inc. HHI continues on with Mighty Kerr as the Commissioner and they're back in action Saturdays after a Summer hiatus, but on Labor Day Monday we had the 32nd ANNIVERSARY LEGENDS GAMES. There were an Ocean's 11 LEGENDS in action looking to steal (the ball) from each other. The Car Tech Captains were Allan "The Question" I-Vath-son & FUn Frank. Al's squad was named the "Middle Finger Lakes" (MFL) relating to this pre-game exchange of Messages:  Jack Strap (JS): Hey Al--can you play in HHI's 32nd ANNIVERSARY GAMES on Labor Day 9/2?  By Your HHI & Athletic Supporter, Jack Strap Inaccurate weather forecasting impacted (2) events I was covering this Memorial Weekend--Saturday evening forecast looked good until I got to the R-Phils game with PSU Buddies Scholesy (HHI LEGEND), Reitzy, and Nick (the latter 2 each playing 1 HHI Game) when 2 innings into it the rain came down and after spotting lightning & hearing thunder we Plan B'd it to the World Famous Pike Cafe which did turn out well. Today HHI LEGEND Old School Bruce wasn't going to make it to Breakfast as he had a Golf Outing scheduled, but that got cancelled due to the rainy weather forecast so he came to join HHI in what turned out to be golf-perfect weather. More importantly he brought our HHI LEGEND Commish Emeritus Collin who was cracking jokes and laughing out loud (LOL).  By Your Athletic (& Buffet) Supporter, Jack Strap It was a Good Friday for an HHI LEGENDS Breakfast and (11) players/eaters agreed. On one side of the table it was Bender's Lenders (aka The Loan Sharks) and on the other side Junior's Corner Market. The Wyo Family Restaurant assigned their HHI approved Waitress/Referee Danielle for our unruly bunch of hooligans. The starting line-up for the Lenders/Loan Sharks: * Formerly known in HHI as Gender Bender & before that Bender-over, but after being mentored by Iron Banker Mike years ago became Lender Bender. One of the self-proclaimed greatest stars to come out of Tulpehocken aka Tulpy--Tim was a late blooming Track Star lured to East Stroudsburg (ESU) by the offer of his own dorm room. I thought Charlie Copp was not only the greatest Tulpy athlete but also the smartest going on to play Ivy league basketball for University of Penn, but Bender didn't agree.
